5. Deception Pass State Park, Washington

Our last camp site was in Deception Pass State Park, Whidbey Island. There were showers for a token, but again no camp fires.

Ice cream was yummy, and huge.

We decided to go to Pike Place Market in Seattle.

Our lunch was  from Russian Piroshky, a place that's always busy, especially when there are 3 cruise ships around.

At the beach we were having fun until sunset building balancing rock towers and drift wood pyramids, which were both harder than they look.

Our last stop was in Ashland, Oregon, Green Springs Inn.

There was a whole family of deer there, who feared no one and chilled by the chicken coop.

9 more hours of driving and we are at home at last, greeted by the sun blazing at 105 F!
Our wonderful road trip is over, where o where will we go next time?
