1. California, SAMUEL P. TAYLOR State Park

Last year we went on a camping trip to Big Sur, well we liked it so much we decided to plan a bigger trip, this time to Washington. In total covering 3 states: California, Oregon, and Washington, and more than 3400 miles.
Here we go, 3 humans and 3 dogs, our first real road trip.

Sadly John Muir Woods Park was no dogs allowed, so we decided to visit Point Reyers Beach. This beach was covered in sand dollars, all different colors and sizes, so we were able to make quite a collection, for our shadow box craft.

After a fun day at the beach we arrived at our campsite. Samuel P. Taylor State Park.

There was a river right next to our campsite and many nature trails.

The dogs are allowed to go on campsites,  in picnic areas, and on the Cross Martin Trail.

The  hot showers were for a minimum of 50 cents. Cold water is free.

So far our trip is great! :)
